William,They will take up space on your local drive, but not as much space as the web based version. Google Drive for your brwsoer stores all versions of Docs, while Google Drive for you desktop only stores the most recent version you've allowed to sync.

I was just looking for this ifmornation for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your site. I wonder what's the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.

Dear Douglas,Thank you for your feedback. I think I know the prlobem you are talking about. It is a low memory condition that I did not deal with correctly in the code (known bug).I think I solved this already in the version of the code I will be releasing soon. However, you should be able to fix the prlobem (quick fix, it might happen again with version 1.1).Not sure exactly what you tried to solve the issue, but these steps should work:- Press your home button for some time untill your application icons start to shiver and a cross appears on all of them.- Press the cross on the AviMapGPS icon, which should uninstall the application from your iPad.- Then connect the iPad to your computer, and re-install the app using iTunes.I believe this should get your prlobem fixed. (was this exactly what you tried?)Other steps you can take if this does not work are:- Shut down your iPad by pressing the sleep button for several seconds until a shutdown dialogue comes up on the screen.- Slide the bar to shut down the iPad, and then turn it on again. If this is the error i think it is, by shutting down the application you will be able to recover from this prlobem. For further reference: when you press the home button on any iOS device, with the newer versions of the operating system (iOS 4 and such), you are not really shutting down any application. The applications continue to run in the background. That is why when you click the icon of an app again, they will turn on much faster on the second time. This also means that you will have a lot of apps running in the background, which might be memory consuming, and can actually drain the battery of your device faster. To see (and stop) any background running applications:- Press twice on the home button quickly. This will show you the currently running apps bar.- press and hold anywhere on this bar. After a while the apps on the bar will start shivering and a sign will appear. If you press this sign on any of the apps, they will be shut down (they will not be removed from your device though).I hope this solves your prlobem, and I hope the new release that is due soon wont present this prlobem any more. If you need any further assistance, leave a message here or contact me by e-mail to lgscisoft at,Luis

Debbie, thanks for being henost! I'm going to my parents' in a few weeks and thought about disconnecting, but they have several computers and wireless, and I just got an iPod touch.Randy, it's comforting to know people appreciated me there. I'm not sure it was anything I had to do, but I haven't regretted it. It's nice to be talking to people outside that space now and getting to know them better. I hope you will keep in touch!

Even if you chose to disconnect, it's not a crime! (Well, ok it might be ceeisdornd one in edtechland, but it isn't really!). I was thinking about you last weekend while I was in PA with no internet access at all. I realized that though I cannot STAND to be disconnected when I am at home (the rare times when internet is out here, watch out for the mama bear!), I have no trouble being offline when away from home. When we went to Disney in January, I was offline for a week with no withdrawal symptoms. Last weekend, I was offline for 4 days. I will be offline for another week when I go to Boston for my sister's wedding in a few weeks.Maybe it's not an issue for me because I don't associate being away from home with being connected. My focus is usually on the unique experiences travel offers rather than on staying connected. Being away from home is like an online vacation. When we lost internet for two weeks at home, though, I was at the library every other day to check email and my networks. I even took my computer in the car and drive around to find an unsecured wireless network I could tap into! So I might not be as well adjusted as I thought I was at first. (-:

I grew up eating canend or jarred beets and thought they were delicious. Then I found real beets oh my goodness! My Garden Genie who is also my CSA supplier grows beets, and they are amazing. And as much as I moan about scrubbing the magenta off of everything, I so love how colorful and delicious they are. I just try reallyreally hard to remember not to be wearing anything white! :-D

Yuck ! What you describe from Hershey Lodge is NOT a grlield cheese. It's an Apple Brie Sourdough sandwich.A grlield Cheese sandwich is what it is. People should feel free to eat any grlield sandwich they want but don't call it a Grilled Cheese in the historical sense.Would you take some chopped steak then add Cheddar or Brie, asparagus, red peppers and Oregano then call it a Philly Cheesesteak ? No you'd call it a Veggie Steak sandwich or something else. But you can't take a classic sandwich, switch all the ingredients and then sill call it that classic name !

actually the thing i like about apple iphone 4s or 4 is that it has a decnet screen i mean 3.5 inch is more than enough for me, i do internet surf, watch a little bit videos, play games, but i think 3.5 is enough, also here in india 4G LTE is yet to be introduced, as 3G is still not covered in many areas, so that's a big no for iphone 5.that's why i was confused a little?
